Keep to the simple rules: You are either FOR ( PROP) or AGAINST (OPP) so start with this. Then add your argument. A good argument has an assertion, a reason and supporting evidence.
PROP: Homework should be banned because it interferes with effective learning. For example learners are up till late completing tasks and cant concentrate the next day in class.
